Guestbrew number 2 from Ølfabrikken is a special brew, where one of our brewer collegues can make his own beer. Mc Wilder is brewed by the three times gold medal winner in the Danish homebrewing championships. Nick has brewed a Scottish ale with three different roasted malts. The result is a dark and complex, yet easily drinkable beer. Enjoy this beer on a cold evening together with a good single malt whiskey.

"Hazy copper brown colour with small off-white head. Aroma of fruits, raisins and malt. Flavour is raisins, caramel and roasted malt. The roasted malt stays a while in aftertaste. Kind of sweet notes too. Wellbalanced. Coffee stays long in aftertaste. Nice brew. So far Ølfabrikken has impressed me. "

"A slightly hazy deep red beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet and quite fruity - like fruit stored in a wooden barrel for a long time, as well as a very faint hint of smoke. The flavor is sweet but with a sour back ground - I think the sourness stems from the malt, with strong notes of straw, but also prunes, wood, caramel, and a somewhat weird herbal note. The aftertaste reveals a faint hint of smoke, but then the weird herbal note comes back at You. I find it going in too many directions at once."
