Ørbæk Brown Ale er brygget med forbillede i de engelske Ale typer. Der benyttes udvalgte malttyper bl.a. Münchner, Vienna og Pilsner der er med til at give karakter, afrundet fylde og den nøddebrune farve til øllet.

"a little disappointing, I must say...
this fella has the aroma spot on for a brown ale, sweet-ish with just enough caramel to mesh with the hops and the malt, but from thereon it goes down a bit; it seems a little on the thin side, the taste (and head) is too weak, and the color is on par"
