aka “The Bob”
This one has a bright golden color with a brisk, refreshing snap to it. A soft malt quality underpins the Kent Golding and Styrian Golding hop character which give the beer a long and dry finish. The classic Belgian yeast adds a wonderful complexity. It is brewed in honor of our local beer writer, Bob Townsend. We are blessed to have a beer writer in the local fishwrap – and a great one at that.

"Pours a slightly hazed amber. The aroma is redolent with the golding hops. The Flavor is less bitter than I expected from the aroma. It’s a soft Biscoff cookie malt with ample fruitiness. Tasty beer."

"This beer comes out a really beautiful transparent golden amber. The strong, malty aroma has definite fruit (apple) and citrus components. Flavor is smooth and malty with a good hoppy bite and an undertone redolent of a good white wine. Aftertaste has some bitterness, but it is a good hop bitterness."
