"Pours like honey, though not in the sense that it pours slowly and thick, but that the color is amber blond, looks like solidified fat - no impurities. Huge frothy white head, aroma of light fruits and grasses. Flavor is biting, long, and smooth. Very very nice!"

"Purchased in a 330ml bottle at Pub Italia in Ottawa, Ontario. Was going to have Barbar (?) or something but the Waitress said they were out. Decent belgian. Strange colour but decent taste and strength. Very fruity aroma and attack. Good representation of a classical trappist."

"Golden, slightly cloudy colour with huge creamy head. Aroma is citrusfruit, spices, caramel, alcohol and dough. Flavour is spices, wheat, slight alcohol and dough. Gets better while you drink and it gets a bit warmer. When warmer, it "smoothens" up abit. Pleasant."

"Purchased in a 330ml bottle at Pub Italia in Ottawa, Ontario. Poured a cloudy beige-gold colour with a white head that dissipated fast enough, but leaving a creamy coat over the brew. The lacing is decent. Mild nose with some fruit, like pears. Light, but yet full-bodied. The fruit is present in the taste too, with the addition of green apples and hints of nuts. Overall, pretty light Trappist ale that is quite refreshing."
