"Hands down one of the best beers I have ever had. Dark brown, tan coloured head that lasts forever. A rich aroma of yeast, caramel, roasted malt, and dark fruit. A deep rich flavour that consists of some bitter hops preceded by toasted caramel malt, some raisins, some figs, and a little yeast."

"Bottle courtesy of Boboski: Poured a deep brown color ale with a huge foamy head with perfect retention. Aroma of cookie dough malt is just about perfect. Taste is also dominated by cookie dough malt with some nice sweet malt and a mild yeasty finish. Alcohol was well concealed with a nice full body. I thought this was somewhat reminiscent of Rochefort 10 but maybe a tad more light and not as complex but still very rewarding."

"75cl bottle.
This pours a dirty brown color with a huge head. The aroma is of cardoman and bits of nutmeg and cinnamon. The finish has a candy sugar sweetness."

"This beer poured a murky brown color topped off with a lasting beige colored head that left great lace down the glass. The aroma was very vinious with tones of dark fruits, some faint caramel, and alcohol. The mouthfeel was full bodied, very mouth coating and quite complex. The flavor was again quite vinious with some nice rich flavors of plums, raisons, oak, and some alcohol. An interesting Trappist that is worth the hefty price tag to pick up."
