The original winter warmer, Tally-Ho is actually a barley wine brewed to a nineteenth century recipe. It's sweet; it's heart-warming; it's rich - but watch out, it's got a kick like a drayman's horse!

"Clear, dark ruby brown colour. Thick long lasting tan head. Rish malty aroma of light chocolate, figs, pear, butter with acidic undertones of raspberries and wood. Malty flavour of black chocolate and toffee with delicate vinous undertones of black cherries and raspberries. Long, woody finish with notes of herbal hops and tart raspberries. Quite good stuff!"

"Cocoa and tea body with an ok head. English. Flat cola, prunes and brown sugar in the flavor. Ther's very little hops in the flavor or aroma. It's mellow with a lingering sweetness."

"I have had this beer many times. Great flavor, aroma and color. A very small head, minimal carbination. At 7% ABV can drink several. Not exactly a session beer but close. Highly recommended if you can find it!"
