"I needed vise grips to get the cork out of this bastard but it was clear sailing from then on. The pour produced a mega head - foamy, tan, and with the end result being lacing at its finest. The body was a coppery dark amber sort of thing, and the aroma, well it was simply (!) seriously complex and lovely, featuring fruits and spices. Better yet, it tasted like it smelled. Mouthfeel and finish - yup to both."

"Pours a nice, murky red with half inch tan head, strong lacing. Aroma is of Rum, raisins, brown sugar, dates. Tastes sweet molasses, dark fruits, plenty of spices, cinnamon and allspice.

"This one was great. I shared it with a great friend in front of a fire outdoors and this simply accentuated the robust body of this brew. Balanced and hearty, this dubbel was fitting for the autumn season. I will certainly try the trippel. "

"OH my not a good one. Poured an average amber color with good head and lacing. Aroma was strong caramel and something off not sure what it was. Flavor ugh ugh ugh caramel overwelmed this and some hops that just didn't belong in here. Nasty."
