Official beer of the HC Andersen 200th anniversary 2005. Ingredients: Barley malts, maize (corn), sugar, hops, colouring (E150c).
(Not to be confused with the strong (9% ABV) Albani HC Andersen, which is brewed annually in a limited edition for the poet's birthday).

"A deep red beer with a nice brown head. The aroma is very sweet with strong notes of straw, caramel, and corn. The flavor is sweet with notes of metal, caramel, and corn, leading to a dry corny end. The mouthfeel is thin. The only good thing about it is the beutiful color."

"½ finger off white head, that lasts a while, leaving nice laces, the color is medium dark caramel with a red trace, the aroma is comfortably balanced with sweet malt and light bitterness, and the taste is quite broad for a vienna (only a plus!!) and holds a nice touch of sweetness to finish it"

"330 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. Reddish brown colour, good lingering head and lacing. Very moderate aroma and flavour of malts and some caramel, pretty much on the soft and bland side but not offensive. Minimal bitterness, but not very sweet either. Easy drinking. No masterpiece, but not as bad as I feared."
