This is a smooth flavoured robust porter with a fine balance of English malts and hops, and hints of chocolate and vanilla. It is delightful when accompanied by shellfish, meat dishes and particularly with chocolate and coffee flavoured dessert dishes.

"Dark brown/amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts, smoked wet wood. Flavour is roasted malts, coffee, sugar, vanilla, smoked wet wood and some slight hoppy hints. Lovely! "

"Bottle. Very dark brown with a large tan head. Aroma has malts, chocolate and vanilla. Sweet roasted malts, chocolate and a dry bitter finish for the taste. Medium bodied, pleasant mouthfeel. Good porter."
