The special dark lager beer. With body, with a different and soft flavour. Very aromatic, adapted to mediterranean tastes. Also suited to drinking when chilled.

"Poured a dark brown to black with large head. Good roasted aromas. The flavor was much like it's blonde cousin. This would be a great beer to introduce have someone try who says that they don't like dark beer."

"There was a nice aroma of roasted caramel upon opening and pouring. It poured a rich, black color with a good sized head. The taste was fair enough with some of the caramel, malt and hops coming through."

"Pours a opaque black coloured body, with a medium size tan head. tint of red near the bottom. Slightly roasted malts, with a creamy mouthfeel, touch of oak and dry initially. decent body, and plenty of lacing, but i expected it to be a little heavier."

"This dunkel pours an eclipse reddish brown color from a 33cl bottle. Small sized beige foamy head, which quickly disappears. The lacing is decent. Aroma is caramel and sweet, with a touch of brown sugar. Lighter to medium bodied dunkel. The malts are caramel and sweet. Some dark fruit flavors as well. The hops are earthy and floral. Nice balance but is way to light in body for a dunkel or even a dark lager. No objectionable flavors or anything, but its so light bodied its kind of bland tasting. Its also lacking some of the sweetness one would expect in a Dunkel. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet."
