"there are a couple of good alley kat beers and then there's the rest of them that are shit...sadly...this is shit!! pours a purple greyish...not very attractive... almost no head and the head that is there...looks like mold growing on a pile of rice that you left in the sun for 3 weeks... yeah...that attractive... taste of sour grapes and smells of skunky grass... unlike mmmmbeer if i was offered this beer i'd laugh in there face then torture them by putting them in boiling hot water, then ice cold water... repeating... until they were sane again!! :) death to shite beer!! \m/"

"Why does this beer have a grey quality to it? Absolutely zero head. Looks like a 10 year old bottle of rootbeer that has actually settled. Kinda flat and murky too and greyish. A wonderful oilslick has replaced what could've been a foamy top. Sour-sweet stink. Disgusting sour taste and a little bitter - quite harsh and almost upsets the stomach. Perplexing sticky mouthfeel that numbed (thank god). Feels very flat. Beer has no more and no less than 2 flavors. Yuck. Burp was ok. Very low quality in every way. My wife drew a triple coiler next to my review - now that's a sign!!"

"Finally an Alley Kat specialty brew worth drinking. The beer was a dark amber almost black but with no head to speak of, I did the bottle upside down one foot above the glass pour but couldn’t get any head. Smelt very sweet of caramel malts or maybe roasted almonds can’t quit tell. Feels very smooth and flat almost no carbonation but not to light. The taste is very grainy at the tip of the tung and turns to a sour red wine towards the back, very dry. Has a bread like after taste, not a bad beer don’t think I’ll buy t again but if someone offers me a free one I won’t stab them in the liver. "
