"My first mead, and unless somebody gets me real drunk, I shall never have another. The beer was a clear yellow beer with a small white head, and very effervescent. The aroma is heavy on the raspberry and light on the honey, and not much else. The taste was awful, very little raspberry or honey to the tongue. Very metallic."

"Bottle: Poured a clear golden yellow color mead with loads of carbonation. Aroma of sweet honey with a hint of berry. Taste is reminiscent of bad sweet wine spritzer with weird chemical-like ending. Loads of bubble with a thin body. Suspicious brew from a usually reliable brewer."

"Ugh. Gonna be a pour out for sure. Two very small sips in and I already don't want any more. The colour is some unknown metallic gold /pink, crystal clear, no head, some carbonation. There is alot of raspberry and honey aroma - very sweet. The aroma is not that bad. Bleck! This is pretty awful. Maybe I am just not a fan of meads, or maybe this one sucks balls. Taste is terrible. It's watered down pop. It's got a nasty alcohol taste that is way to forward. It's..the hell with it - I'm not drinking any more of this spew. Gasoline in my mouth? Mouthfeel is 100% unpleasant. Thin, watery and gasoline. The slight sweetness is overrun by nothingness. Over carbonated. Horrid. It's like I've got a shot of Vodka in a pail full of melted ice. It's possible that I consumed less than 75ml. Hello basement toilet - goodbye Alley Kat abomination. Did they even taste this BEFORE they bottled it? How could they say "hey, this is exactly what we were after"? One of the worst things I've ever drank. Alley Kat should be embarrased. Also, one of the cheapest labels ever made. A dead ringer to cheap home made wine labels."

"I’ve told my self every time I drink a mead I’ll never do it again and this is no different tasted like crap and was a complete waste money. Pale rose to an orangey pink in color absolutely no cap but tons of carbonation bubbling up, looks exactly like sparkling peach juice don’t look like beer or mead but I think this is what Alley Kat was going for so what ever. Aroma is very sweet tons of honey and noticeable raspberry and something that smells like feet, it is not completely offensive but it’s ungood. I can’t believe the 6% alcohol is very noticeable and what the hell is the malt they used for this baggot mead made from popcorn?!?!?! This taste like popcorn the aftertaste taste like popcorn, buttery popcorn combined with honey and raspberry HOW! WHY! Ok I just called the girl friend over to taste I did tell her what I thought this tasted like and right after the first sip she said popcorn so its not just me. I’m not to sure what Ally Kat was going for on this product but I think they wanted to make a brew that was sweet and light for girls to slam back but ended up with a huge batch of popcorn juice. This was a huge waste of money and time there is no good reason to drink this. I SHALL NEVER BUY MEAD AGAIN. Review done while watching Mythbusters. "
