"Light gold color. Medium to large head. Aroma is bready and yeasty. A lighter bodied lager. Malts are mild and slightly sweet. Hops are mild and slightly spicy. A fairly typical euro-lager, it is extremely well balanced though. Well made, light and refreshing. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. "

"Of all the brews from Allgäuer Brauhaus, this lowly lager is by far my favorite. A nice balance of hops and malt with a very enjoyable taste. Sorta like a good helles, but harder. Color is straw, with a good retentive head. Not a world beater, swill it is not. Many worse biers by bigger names worldwide."
