"This bock pours a light orange amber color from a 500ml bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity (pineapple and peach) and slightly bready. Touch of floral and sweetness. A medium bodied bock. Malts are bread and cookies. Lots of fruit flavors, pineapple mostly. Touch of floral hops. A little thin tasting and perhaps a little too sweet, but not a bad beer. Smooth tasting, nice malty finish. Seems to hide the alcohol fairly well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish Is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. "

"As noted in the review by Clash, too many brews like this end up old and not tried. Magnus has a very nice copper color, and a malty aroma, depending on how old the bottle is. I have bought this brew for .5 $ when I was a saleman, but the wholesale was $1.50 US. Malt dominates, with some hops on finish. Good thing is this is 8%, and IS from Allgau. The outcome is a first rate delivery system for alcohol, with minimal side effects. Not a taste champ, but sure packs a whallop!"

"Man this bottle is old. 5 years at the bare minimum. It has a musky and doughy aroma. The appearance is a cloudy yellow. It tastes old but it worked somehow. A chewy bread character. Interesting."
