On the lager side of Pils, Kleiner Munch (smaller monk) is small only in bottle size, .33 liters. The bier is a fullbodied and matly, but the hops come along and leave a dry slightly bitter finish. While not a 5 star brew, the freshness and the drinkability are very high. This is what the Deutsch lovingly call Bier!

"clear and bright golden colour, fine head, oily grassy nose, medium-bodied, herbal and bitter finish - this is an ok beer though lacking of some subtility"

"Need a bier? Got one here! On the lager side of pils, hard yet malty, then hops again. Balance is the key here, I would not be sad to see a case of this any place. Not a world beater, but a sure fire drinker. Zwei mehr Bitte!"
