"I can't believe that I have never seen this before. I tried to order it at a restaraunt but they were out. I saw it while beer shopping today and picked one up. The only writing (besides the Gov't warning) was in German so I really didn't know what I was buying. It's under the Abbey Dubbel style (how did this get classified as a Dubbel?????) It does remind me of a decent belgian but it doesn't seem to fit. It pours a murky, brown color. Short lived head that completely goes away. Aroma is sweet and malty. The aroma does kind of remind me of an Abbey. The taste is also sweet. Very sweet and malty. Not bad, and theres more happenin' so i'll pick up some more and try to figure out what this beer is all about. I drank this one too fast. (cool bottle too)"

"I love the bottle as well. Nice color to the beer with little head. Aroma and flavor, like I told Pk, was just like kandy korn which I love, malty and sugary. Please reclassify this beer. Say no to Abbey. I loved it, but it's not an abbey."

"Slight pfft of flip top, unique bottle. Poured a nice enough deep ruby red/brown with little to no tan head. Aroma wasn't impressive to me, with slight maltiness but mostly the smell of strong candy corn and an undescribable funk. Little, if any lacing. Very thin mouthfeel for an Abbey Dubbel. Is this an Abbey Dubbel? OK flavor, with malt presence and a nice balance of sweetness. Just an average beer. "

"Wow! The top pops off with tremendous force. Pours a fragrant, almost opaque deep brown. Almost no head, which was expected. Very complex smell, sweet, roasted malts, something... Kind of decent.Taste is a little metallic, very disappointing although develops into something quite nice! Really nice bottle, very unique like nothing I have seen before. Overall the bottle is the best thing about this beer, great jmarketing. Buy this beer for the bottle."
