"Damn, has it come to this? I think I was in the Luxor in Vegas... wherever the Rainforest Cafe was... treating the kiddies to some lunch. This was one of 7 beers to choose from, the only one I hadn't had and, well, pretty much the most appealing selection. Ouch.
Sweet and grainy aroma, weak grain for flavour but thats about it as it's one dimentional, empty and void of most everything, slighly fizzy. The dry ice pools to my right are starting to look more inviting to drink out of."

"Ubiquitous pale yellow american pale lager appearance. Surprisingly light carbonation for a pale lager. Aroma is a little off clean towards the smell of stinky cabbage. Taste of similar value follows but it is not an acrid or overwhelming character. Light and relatively well controlled. Fun to an extent. Does seem to have more alky than the 3.5% listed here. Overall, does not seem to have a lacking in lagerness as I expected. Another example of refined pale yellow lager. S3L1F2T5O10 8/14/2007 "

"Drank a bunch of this stuff at concert a while back, thats why it was so pricey, however it wasnt bad. I drank it from a can but it had a lttle malty flavor, a few hops, slightly sweet. Also it had a very slight skunk aroma that wasnt bad. Better than average light beer."

"I love this beer. If I were stuck on an island until the end of time and was permitted to have only one type of beer, I would choose Amstel Light. Is it the best beer in the world . . not even close, however, this beer can be enjoyed anytime and in large or small quantities. A great all around beer!"
