A medium bodied, full flavored, complex, malty lager, brewed with the addition of extra Munich malt and a small amount of chocolate and caramel malts from Belgium.

"16 oz draught
5.0% ABV
I tried this beer on November 26, 2008 at "Pizza Rustica" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with lenusik. The beer poured a translucent metallic red with no head at all. The aroma was a combination of grainy and sweet malt, with some floral hop tones weakly present. As stated by a couple of others, the mouthfeel was slightly watery, and not well carbonated. The flavour was rather bland with some grainy malt being the predoninant flavour."

"The beer appeared a translucent red with a very thin tan coloured ring. The aroma was caramel malt and some hops. The flavour was sweet malt and some bitterness. I agree with Myke.......not the best product."

"This Canadian Vienna pours a rich amber colour that is clear, creates a small white head with not much retention, nor lacing. Average carbonation. The nose is buttery with some caramel and mild fruits. Watery mouthfeel with a slight syrup feel. The taste is not too sweet, but caramel malt is definitely present, but very light. Some hop shows up in the aftertaste. Mild nuts and light fruits (apples) are there too. Overall, an average brew."

"i don't why people think this a good brewer. their beer is bland and tatseless, both on tap and bottle, except the blonde. this beer sucked. that's all. a scan of comparable beers on the right side of this page compares it to point, that should tell you all you need to know right there."

"Poured a a nice copper-amber color...weak head some lacing, fairly well carbonated. The nose is pleasing on this one: Caramel toasted malts, sweetness and light herbal tone ( this smells like a Vienna), Starts bulky with the sweet toasty malts up front then a light herbal decernement from the Tettnang hops then the body and finsh leaves you dangling...wet but clean with light sweet bready after taste. This was a tease beer...it has so much potential...I want to see a well made local vienna and Amsterdam got half way there then they wimped out with their typical watery mouth feel and light palate....put some more Munich malt substance in this beer it could be good.
