"Once again thank you dental diva for carrying this back across the country for me to try. Dark brown with almost no head to speak of, looks like coke. Aroma is unique first time I’ve ever smelt something that I can only describe as sour peanut butter mixed with light coffee. Nutty coffee flavour, light coco, and a sour metallic finish. Beer feels thin and has a very mild easy drinking flavour. After taste is exactly like a puffed wheat square. Over all touch sour for my enjoyment but still wasn’t really all that bad. "

"I'm disappointed.
Poured out a dark brown brew with a very very small white skim and no lacing. Pretty good aroma but nothing to different here: Heavy toasted malts, marshmallows over the fire, nice caramel, slight nut. Taste is a bit of a bummer due to the overlying sourness. Decent toasted malts, not really sweet, more dull than anything, nutty and I will take mmmmmbeerhomo's find of puffed wheat squares baked with cocoa, maybe a bit of roast. Ok carbonation, too dry and too tart / sour, close to medium bodied, finishes dry and tart with very obvious toasted malts that don't go away. This style is just not my thing."

"Bottle: Poured a deep clear brown color ale with a medium size foamy head with average retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of nutty caramel malt is quite intense and enjoyable. Taste is also dominated by this medium sweet nutty caramel taste. Body is average with some spritzy carbonation which doesn’t fir very well. While I don’t need a full hops assault on my brown ale I would appreciate at least some hops inclusion which I can’t say is the case here. "

"I liked this beer. I was expecting something similar to an English brown ale and I was not disappointed. This was a brown ale, just as described on the bottle. The aroma was complex with some malt and hop odours. The beer was smooth, and the taste was very pleasant, and easy to drink, No bitterness."
