Pomegranate and berry extracts add a tasteful twist to this classic wheat beer. Made only once a year in limited quantities, this refreshingly unique taste is best enjoyed with light food fare, hot summer days and warm summer nights.

"Purchased at the LCBO, and this one is a new addition to the Amsterdam Brewery. Pours a mild hazy golden-orange-copper colour with an slight off-white head that is creamy and bubbly. The retention is great, and so is the lacing all around. Has a nice soft pomegranate scent to it, with light malt grain. Lots of carbonation of bigger bubbles around the glass at first, but then, nice consistent smaller bubbles slowly coming up from the bottom of the glass. I am surprised after tasting it, that this one is on the watery side. Really missing the boat on the taste. Kind of soapy, with hardly any aftertaste. Must have more fruit and more wheat to it. Wish they would not filter this one so much."

"Bottle from LCBO.
Pours a burnished copper color, slightly hazed with a reddish tinge. Decent cap fair lacing. Lively carbonation
Funky sweet fruit aroma and musty earthy notes.
Light body, dry wheat biscuit flavor light woody hopping with a persistent pomegranate flavor that stays through to the dry tart finish.
A light fruity spritzy-dry summer wheat beer in the commercial vein. No real flaws just not memorable enough to stand out."

"Bottle: Poured a deep golden color ale with a good size foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of lightly sweet malt with some light fruity notes as well. Taste is also a mix between some light sweet malt (couldn’t detect any wheat in there though) with some light fruit syrup added to the mix. I would be really surprise if there was any pomegranate in there; it is more likely that some syrup was use."
