"Pours out in a clear brown colour with a large fluffy tan-coloured foam. Mellow malty aroma of butter, fudge, nuts and metal. Light-bodied for the style with notes of hay, nuts and butterscotch. Short finish of nut-shells and brown sugar. "

[2] Review by Phil B from Gatineau, Canada who has tried this beer once. (12/21/2007 2:21:46 PM)
"Bottle courtesy of mgermani: Poured an amber color ale with a small foamy head with minimal retention and no lacing. Aroma of medium caramel notes is definitely weaker then expected. Taste is a mix between some sweet malt with some toffee notes but in the end this just seems to be lacking character. Body is a bit thin with some medium carbonation. It appears this one fell short in a style that seems to be hard to master."
