Anniversaries are meant to be celebrated, and as we looked back on 11 years of “balance in beer,” we decided to take a walk on the wild side with this year’s Anniversary Ale. Our brewers were finally turned loose to craft a beer that’s focused on the hops, and the result is Hop Rocket… Arcadia’s 11th Anniversary Ale.
Hop Rocket is a veritable constellation of hops… including some varieties that we haven’t used in other beers, and it’s delivered by the same booster of worldclass malt that our loyal fans have come to know and love with all Arcadia Ales. We appreciate the opportunity to share with you this “launch” of our 12th years, and we hope you’ll enjoy the ride with Arcadia Hop Rocket!

"Pours cloudy copper with dense, creamy head and thick sheets of lacing. Pine and grapefruit dominate the aroma. The flavor is refreshing and moderately bitter with citrusy and floral hop character. Medium bodied, well carbonated, notable warming."

"Sampled from bottle. Pours dark gold with a nice head (for a strong beer) and intricate lacing. It's aroma is subtle for the style, but has a pleasant american hop nose. Pleasantly bitter with an agressive hop flavor - it takes a lot of hops to get this type of hop burst. Nice. Full-bodied with enough carbonation to trick you into thinking you're drinking a much weaker beer."

"Bottle courtesy of Jay23: Poured a slightly hazy copper color ale with a big foamy head with good retention and no lacing. Aroma consists of nice semi-sweet caramel malt with some dry and bitter hops. Taste is also comprised of semi-sweet caramel malt with some bitter and dry hops with a light floral finish. Full body with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Well done but missing some floral notes to be unforgettable. "
