This beer has been especially brewed and bottled by the staff of Arkell`s Brewery to celebrate Mr Peter`s (Peter Arkell OBE) 80th birthday, his distinguished career with the airforce during World War II and his many years as chairman of Arkell`s Brewery Ltd. Well done, Mr. Peter!

"Cask@GBBF2007. Deep golden colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel malts, hops and some bitterness. Flavour is sour hops, caramel malts and some grass. The palate is rather dry. "

"Amber colour with a slim white head. Fruity and malty aroma with that slightly stale pasteurised smell you often get. Taste is malty and sharp with a bitter finish. Thin bodied and a bit watery. Not very good, although not offensive."
