This appears to be the most popular locally brewed beer in Singapore, perhaps in Asia. It certainly is the most heavily promoted. A light tasting beer, it has a big fluffy head that dissipates almost immediately. It starts with a hoppy bitterness that fades in the middle and disappears completely at the finish. It has almost no aftertaste at all. A pleasant beer with food, but not a memorable one.

"Tiger was better than I expected for an asian beer. It poured a golden yellow body with lots of carbonation, a decent sized head left moderate lace. Aroma of sweet malts, and a little grassy, flavor was similar to the aroma with the grassy taste quickly leaving, no aftertaste to speak of. Overall it was fairly decent."

"Pours light-golden with slow-settling, rich white head and some lace. Fresh aroma of rice malts, light hops, citrus, and light spices. The mouthfeel is smooth, light, yet filling. Flavors of rice malts, light hops, lemon/lime, and a peppery background. Tasty!"

"Okay, I'm a Stout/Porter man. So why a cheap lager. Chalk it up to experimentation. Clea yellow body on this one. Not much of a head, though a lot of carbonation. Crisp drink. Not much else going for it, at least not much more than you'd find in a Bud. Not much flavor, no complexity. "

"Really pale, almost like water, quite heavy white top. Aroma has really strong hops in it and maybe a little bit sweetness. Taste is corny, hoppy and totally Asian :) Aftertaste is a little bit too bitter for me."
