"Bottle: Poured a deep clear brown color alt with a medium foamy head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of huge caramel malt with some medium sweetness is quite enjoyable. Taste is dominated by some huge caramel malt with some notes of nuts and a light hoppy finish. Full body with some average carbonation. Definitely the best thing I have had from this somewhat inconsistent brewery."

[2] Review by pootz from between Calgary and Waterloo, Canada who has tried this beer once. (10/5/2007 7:35:02 PM)
"Bottle:
Pour produced a clouded copper ale with a stiky cap that laced well.
Aromas of fresh biscuit malt, nuts, woody-herdal tones...very nice.
Profile" Big chew on the bready toasty malts in the front side..roasted nuts, woody-leafy nobel bite to balance...lightly drying and bitter finish.
A very well made Quebecois verson of an alt but the lingering bittering in the after taste blows the style conformity.
Medium bodied, full flavored and satisfying."
