Fragrance and taste of the “yeast-cloudy” wheat beer are distinguished by a refined top-fermented flowery-yeast character and an unmistakable, distinct banana aroma. First sensation on the taste buds is full-bodied, very soft and mild with a lively, champagne-like sparkle. A light, typical wheat beer taste is expressed, the bitter tone of which can scarcely be detected. The sparklingly refreshing Ayinger Bräu-Weisse will impress every wheat beer connoisseur with the first mouthful.

"Rather dark and cloudy for a hefe, brau- weisse none the less is a pretty decent beer. The head is small and disapates quickly. Aroma of banana but not overwhelming as described above. Mouthfeel is decent and it has a crisp finish, flavors of wheat dominate. Not my favorite hefe but worth a try."

"This pours cloudy pale yellow colour with a decent sized head. Banana, clove and malty smell and taste. Medium-light mouthfeel with a mild finish that does not linger too long. Great for a warm summer day."

"In summer, it’s wheat bears. This entry pours with a hazy yellow body into my glass. The head is robust, lingering for a while. The carbonation is just right. But the nose and taste are straight forward with little complexity. Crisp, yeasty, some fruit like banana and a hint of floral hops. All in all a quenching drink."

"Pours a cloudy deep golden color. Has a thick head that leaves nice lace. Aroma of banana, vanilla and yeast. Tastes the same with wheat flavors, with a finish of cloves. A great balance. Has a silky, creamy mouthfeel with a good carbonation."

"Very cloudy yellow color with a very thick fluffy white head. Aroma is quite citrusy with yeast. Citrus fruity flavor, yeast and some crisp spices mixed in. Light and refreshing. A nice all around hefe. "
