Angry Boy is a brown ale that doesn't quite fit in; it is bigger, bolder, hoppier and more complex than most. It has, if you will, an angry edge. It is somewhat sweet and very full-bodied in the mouth but piquantly bitter and warming in the finish. If you are feeling angst, this is your brew.

"Pours out in a hazy brown colour with a small creamy tan-coloured foam. Toasted malts, cream, nuts, fudge and leaves in the aroma. Surprisingly hoppy and bitter flavour of leaves and lemon-zest with sweetish notes of nuts, cream and fudge. Medium-bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Long dryish finish of leafy and orangey ops with touches of flowers, nuts and mild coffee. A brown ale with a lot of character."

"Bottle (courtesy of Presario): Poured a dark brown color ale with a small head with very minimal retention. Aroma of strong malt with some roastiness and caramel. Taste is also dominated by the strong roasted malt with some nice hops that lends a hoppier finish. Body is quite full for a brown ale but overall this kind of lack carbonation. Good for the style but seems to be missing something to be truly great."
