Barons Pale Ale is crafted from select ingredients sourced from Australasia. Malted Australian barley and wheat with a touch of barrel roasted crystal malt provide a medium bodied rich golden coloured beer. The addition of wheat ensures the dense cream head stays to the end of the glass.
The varietals of hops used to create this ale have been chosen for the vibrant flavours and aromas and the smooth bitterness they impart. The three varietals of hops used are all new release triploids from New Zealand. The result is subtle black berry flavours and Sauvignon Blanc like character combined with classic restrained hop bitterness and passion fruit aroma.

"A golden apperance with a small white head. The aroma is rather weak with hints of citrus showing through. The flavor is watery but contains some malty notes and a hint of lemons. BORING! "

"My 2nd selection from this recently stocked Aussie brewer. Like their Wattle Seed Ale, this Pale Ale has a unique character that I find refreshing. Very light copper pour, almost a dark gold. Fluffy, bright white head and moderate lacing. Foreign floral aroma with notes of butter and wood. Malty mouth feel, medium bodied with a slight bitter kick. Tasty and light with a good malt flavor of fresh grains and flowers. A tendency toward some sturdy noble hops, very green with some minor fruit aspects. It takes a few to appreciate what's being offered."

"Pale copper color, light white head and sticky lacing. Nose of thin cheap malts, light metal and very subtle noble hops. Crisp though with a lot of corn. The flavor is light but malty, a sweeter finish. Dusty grainy finish. Corn, dust, metal, sweet malts"
