Cask; Seasonal - Spring and November. Also available in bottles, pasteurised.
A dark ruby beer with a rich flavour and spicy finish. The hop grist adds a hint of citrus to complement the roasted malt character. 'Dark, Delicious and Delectable'

"Cask Conditioned at The Falcon (JDW), High Wycombe. Black with a lively white head. Aroma is roasted malt and alcohol. To taste Roasted malt, sugar and fruit upfront with a dry finish leading to an odd sour aftertaste. Reminds me a bit of paint, ash tray and pear drops. I’m not entirely convinced this was supposed to taste like this. Left over cask from Winter?"

"My friend Henry suggests this beer tastes like cake. He is not far off. Also it has an amazingly bad drawing of a black knight on the label, and it makes me laugh. Whats not to like? Thems tasty."
