Superb strong bitter with a complex palate,
consisting of a delicate aroma of hops delightfully
balanced by a prominent malty character.

"500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.8%. Amber to brown colour, decent head. Malty and nutty aroma with notes of caramel and bakery. The flavour is nutty and malty too, but also with a noticeable fruitiness, and decent hops in the finish. "

"Amber beer with a very small head. Aroma was bordering on bad. There was a sour taint that made me think twice before drinking. Made up for the stink with the taste. This beer had a nice sweet, malty body that mixed well with the bittering hops. Not quite as fruity as most English bitters. Would like to try the cask version."
