"This is one of the putrid beers that has been let loose on the world. The beer pours a pale golden yellow with a huge white head that is gone in a wink. The aroma is part skunk, part vomit, and part grainy malt. The flavour is burnt grainy malt."

"Swill. Overpriced. Dozens of other options. One of the worst initial skunk smells yet. The only time I actually spent my own money on this was on my famous canoe trip up the North Saskatchewan River 9 yrs ago - 9.5 dozen beers, 3 people, 1.5 days, bottomed out across from the Devon campground and drank while stuck in the middle of the river....
Prying off the cap unleashed the souls of a thousand decayed skunks that had been trapped in the bottle since the dawn of time. After letting it sit for 5 minutes the aroma of skunk was sort of gone and was replaced with bread and grain, light but obvious citrus and some background stink that makes you not take too many deep smell intakes. Clear light gold with a good sized white head that leaves lots of messy lacing. The taste is not bad when coldish but was quite terrible when really cold. Solid grainy (actually, more bready) malts and a heavy feeling but not thick or strong hop content. Good swish to be had, light to light medium bodied. The hop finish is not of great quality. The mellowness comes around when warming. I still think this beer is crap and would never spend my own money on it. ***update!!*** my wife came down the stairs 25 minutes AFTER I opened the beer, not knowing I had opened a beer she said "it stinks down here. skunky. What is that?" er, it's Bavaria. If my basement stinks that bad after, it proves that this beer is rank. Case closed."

"Dam that’s a lot of skunk the family of skunks that use to live in the bottle are now roaming around my condo because this stink is every where. Beer appearance is standard light golden body with a large pillowy white cap. Retention is actually very good and lacing is ok. Most of the skunk has left the glass but it is still very noticeable the aroma also contains lots of sour metallic malts. Tons of German style hops are also in the aroma, why in the hell do brewers use green bottles they suck!!!! Watery sour malts and German hops make up the majority of flavour. Mouth feel is soft and heavily carbonated but the after taste is surprisingly clean with no lingering after taste except for some sweetness. Taste is turning more malty and sweet as the beer approaches room temp. but now its almost turning overly sweet its almost syrupy. Brew is drinkable but why bother just pick any thing ells and you’ll be doing better and dam I got 4 more of these left over from a party I’ll have to find some beercronics to unload them on. "
