In Flanders, "Ezel" {donkey} is a nickname given to specific people or even entire village communities. However, as the people of this area, the word "Ezel" symbolizes not so much stupidity, but patient and dogged perseverance, a perseverance that is quite conscious of its own quality. The same applies to this ale: brewed from raw materials of the highest quality, it has a mellow taste that shows a real personality.

"Bottled. Reddish amber colour with mediumsized bubbly head, which quickly goes into a smallsized beige, longlasting one. Aroma is roasted malts, sour fruits with marzipan and a slight sticky alcoholic tone. Flavour is caramelly, malty, slightly metallic and ryeish. Watery palate, and quite "bulk feeling". Very boring.
