"Pours a thick opaque black colour with a barely noticeable tan head. Aroma is sweet of roasted malts, caramel and toffee. Taste is creamy, rich and full of generously toasted bready flavors. Smooth all the way through and very filling."

"22 oz bomber from the corkscrew in urbana pours very dark black with a chocolate colored head that disappears quickly with very little evidence of lacing the aroma is tons of chocolate and toffee the flavor is more dominated by the toffee and is very smooth there is a slight hint of whiskeyness but the alcohol is very well hidden in this brew the finish is smooth the mouthfeel is very smooth with just a hint of carbonation and no unpleasent bite very good stout one of my favorites now"

"I had this at the Old Toad in Rochester, NY in late December 2007. This is a favorite of my friend Darren. He was having a bottle and asked me if I wanted a sample. Since I'm never one to turn down a free brew, I obliged. Good choice! The following are from notes I took that night.
The beer had a nice smooth, chocolate malt smell to it. It was good, but a little much for me at that point. It poured out nice and smoothly, typical of that style, but left behind a nice head and beautiful lacing on the glass. I hate to overuse the word smooth, but this also had a very smooth mouthfeel to it. The flavor was wonderful though. If you can believe it, it's almost like an adult version of chocolate milk. Nice and strong!
Not that I have to tell most of you on here, but this thing is much better at room temperature or slightly below than cool. Serving it at that temperature really brings out the malty, almost chocolate milk smooth flavors. Be sure to pick yourself up a bottle and try it out. You'll be pleasantly happy. Trust me. "

"A pitch black black bear colored beer with a disappearing chocolate colored head. The aroma is sweet with notes of chocolate, while the flavor is dominated by chocolate as well as coffee notes."
