[1] Review by ante from Stockholm, Sweden who has tried this beer once. (3/1/2008 9:13:39 AM)
"Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Labelled as Beck Dunkelbier. Pours out in a clear ruby brown colour with a rich creamy white foam. Toasted malts, nuts, fudge, caramel and salty licorice in the aroma. Medium-bodied with solid yet elegant malt character of caramel, fudge, nuts, crackers, cocoa and anise. long medium bitter finish of toasted malts and nuts with hints of grassy hops.

"(as Beck Dunkel, 4.9%). Amber colour, mediumsized creamy beige head. Aroma is malts, some dark bittery fruits and gops. Flavour is hops, slight diacetyl and some roasted notes. Caramelly and hoppy aftertaste. "
