"Bottled. Very deep ruby red colour with small beigeish brown head. Aroma is big time sour fruits along with some freshly cut wood and some hints of mild sour cherries. Flavour is not as sour, and also the fruity notes are weaker than the wooden ones. Not much aftertaste at all. This could be one of the flemish sours that's mild enough to get people to "get" the style. I prefer the ones which are more sour and dry in flavour than this one though. "

"Brown in color with a head that is negligible. After a minute or so resembles a glass of flat cola. Sherry-like aroma with cherry notes, reminds me of a kriek lite. Flavor is sourish with notes of golden raisins and cherries over a layer of muted malt beneath. IMO would make this beer awesome if the malt was just a little more prevalent - tasted too much like a kriek. Finish has a nice, late blooming cherry pit bitterness.
Nice beer, but at $45 for 12 eight ounce bottles a bit pricey."

"Sampled in Ieper. Poured a burgundy red color with a head that did settle fairly quickly, but provided decent lacing. Aroma was of sour cherries and grapes with a vinegar touch. Flavor was much of the same and this one was typical of your average flemish sour. A nice local beer to enjoy while in Ieper."

"A deep reddish content mixed with some hazel stain. Has some powerful acidic aromatic qualities which tend to dominate much of the flavor especially as the glass empties. "
