A robust porter brewed from a tasty blend of dark malts with a rich, roasted flavor. Enjoy it anytime, like now for instance.

"After two great back to back brews, i stumbled (literally) upon this beer. Pours a dark opaque black colour with a medium sized tan head. Aroma is of coffee and mocha, maybe some hot buttered rum as well. Taste is so flavorful, chocolate with bananna and ice cream. woop!"

"A ruby-tinged deep brown body with a foamy brown head and light lace. Lightly-roasted dark malt nose with milky-mocha notes. Full but sharp on the palate; long finish that smoothes out the tangy roughness. Fine taste of robust roasted malt; flavors meld as the beer warms and becomes quite lush and well-balanced. Nice! "Sampled from a bottle with no freshness date, but rather a batch number. I'm too lazy to look up the brewing date. The pour is a thin, deep black with a tan head that dissipates but hangs around. Nice lacing. Aroma is of heavily smoked malts, coffee, and black licorice. It smells delicious. Mouthfeel is a tad too watery, but it is very smooth with a good bit of carbonation. The taste is very nice, although a little plain compared to porter stalwarts like Anchor Porter or Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald. The caramel malts make an appearance, followed by the standard coffee and chocolate found in a porter, with a nice smoky aftertaste. This is a great dessert beer. As usual, Bells is spot on. "

"I poured this one into a Stella Artois glass down the middle. I got a nice head which went away rather quick, but still nice lacing. The aroma is nothing to write home about, but you can pick up some chocolate notes. The mouth feel was close to perfect, very smooth - not overly carbonated. The flavor is great! Dark roasted chocolaty grains blended very well with the hops, nicely balanced! Great job Bells! I don't even like porters that much."

"Aroma is quite similar to the appearance of this beer, dark and coffee-like, lot’s of chocolate notes. Diminutive head, with a long flavorful finish. AN enjoyable beer that is in keeping with the Porter style. "
