India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

"One of my favorite IPAs, especially on tap (more mellow than from the bottle). Pours orange with thick white head. This beer is all about hops--aroma is of citrus and flowers, taste is the same with a little sweetness. Considering the strong hop presence, this beer is remarkably smooth and refreshing. Not as bitter as you might expect but excellent nonetheless."

"Pours out beautifully an orange color. Thick whitish head that lingers for a long time and leaves lacing. Smells like flowers, and leaves a floral aftertaste in your mouth which lingers. This aftertaste began to bother me for a while, and made finishing the bottle work."

"Finally had the opportunity to try this one on a road trip to Wisconsin. It wasn't available in Chicagoland (beer distributor politics) for a couple of years, but it's back as of last week. Woo-Hoo!!! Pours a golden amber color with creamy white head. Smells of pine and citrus. Very crisp. Incredibly smooth. Very pronounced hop flavor dominated by pine and citrus, mainly lemon and grapefruit. Finishes strong and leaves the tongue dry, causing more of this wonderful brew to be consumed. Saw my favorite band while imbibing this potent potable and had a night I'll never forget. One of the best IPA's I've tasted so far. Highly recommended. "

"The pour unleashed a waterspout of miniscule bubbles in the bottom of the glass; clear golden color with a dense white head leaving good lacing. A strong nose of floral and fruity hops with pleasant aromas of pine and grapefruit. Mouthfeel is soft, in spite of a little bitter bite on the edges. Medium-bodied with full satisfying flavors of smooth malt and refreshing, invigorating flowery hop bitterness. This is what an IPA should taste like; soft, not rough, firmly bitter but not harsh, flavorful but not aggressive. Love it! MUSIC: Natural, by Okay, from Huggable Dust"

"My third beer from the Bell's brewery. A light orangey body with a good frothy white head and a lot of carbonation to help maintain that head. I have tried a dew IPA's and most are a little two acidic-hoppy for me. But this one, every much an IPA with the bouget of aromatic hops, but the bittering was far less harsh giving a nice mouthfeel drink.
My hat's off to the people at Bells for making a good IPA"
