"I've been driving past this place on a regular basis ever since they opened and at last, yesterday, finally stepped inside for lunch, Oh yes, and also for some beer. This porter looked right but I could sense any sort of aroma at all. Odd, but the taste was what it should be and that's what matters the most. Might have been some dark chocolate, might have been some burnt coffee, but if there was I could not discern any of it. However, it DID taste like a porter. Mouthfeel was better than some porters I've had, i.e., not thin, and this one had a nice finish. An okay beer, and I'd have it again."
