Big Rock Honey Brown is an exceptionally smooth and mellow beer with a subtle hint of sweet honey. This rich, golden-brown lager is made with Alberta Clover Honey and aged longer to produce a rich creamy head and a clean aftertaste.

"Review done in a crappy Chinese food restaurant that charged way to much for a bottle of beer. Poured the beer myself from a bottle into a hexagon shaped glass that said IKEA on the bottom, brew was a nice honey brown crystal clear but had zero cap, well maybe no zero but what little was produced was gone very quickly. Aroma was almost nonexistent and was made up of dusty smelling malts a slight sweetness. Taste was light but descent enough light roast malts, a touch of honey for some sweetness and a very mild hop presence. Mouth feel was soft and a touch flat feeling but not gross. Ok beer I can drink it but see no real reason to, honey brown’s just aren’t my style. "

"As soon as I opened this bottle the sweet aroma could be smelled. Dark brown in color and has a very sweet taste. I enjoyed this beer greatly and will probably pick it up, I do prefer this over Rickards Honey any day."

"Deep bronze in color. Small but lasting head of dense foam that leaves some lacing. Smell of grain and "Alberta Clover Honey" gives a floral aroma. Taste is sweet, but has some hop to balance - Very well rounded. I found it a bit sweeter than other honey-browns, my favourite compared to Sleeman and Rickards."
