This big, rich IPA features Simcoe hops which give it both a fruity, piney hop nose and a clean, ringing bitterness. IN-between, the malt flavor is slightly caramel for a touch of malt sweetness. This IPA is well-balanced and very expressive with hops.

"Not too bad. I was thinking it was not going to be very good and I was wrong. Floral notes and a lasting white head. Good body and and carbonation. Flavor was hoppy but balanced..."

"Got a great deal on a Montana Mixer 12 pack in which I got this beer. Pretty solid IPA but not too exciting. Pours copper/red with nice thick head; big hop aroma--piney, citrusy, and a hint of spice; taste is similarly hoppy with a nice bitter finish. Would make for a good everyday beer."

"Ah, Simcoe. I knew that that hop profile was familar. One of my favorite hops. I was going to say that it had a similar hop profile to Dale’s Pale Ale, but without the hefty malt backbone. This makes for a nice APA, but is a little timid for an IPA, at least at current hophead standards. Thanks Sparky27."

"I enjoyed this beer. It is difficult to locate this beer in southern MN. I look for it whenever I head out west. I will be buying more of this beer. The packaging could use some updating though."

"Sampled from bottle. A copper-red IPA with a thin head. Faint, fruity and piney hop aroma. Really too subtle. Agressive, but still pleasant bitterness. Hop flavor is suprisingly bold in light of the aroma's foreshadowing otherwise. Not among my favorite IPAs, but still a good beer."
