This Irish style ale has a robust malty base balanced with fresh hops grown in and around Fredericksburg. Selected European hops provide a fresh, bold finish.

"I think I got the flat version. I gave it a pretty hard pour - managed to get about 1/16 of an inch of head and some bubbles but it flattenned out pretty fast. Pretty much destroys the remainder of the experience. If I gotta dump a $4 beer, then it's difficult to give it an even average rating."

"This brew features a creamy head, and deep red color. The aroma is refreshing and the body is robust and malty. Nice smooth finish and an overall satisfying brew. Virginia is not known as a hop growing region, but Jeff grows some and does use them in his beers. I like the "homegrown" idea, and the results are encouraging."
