"Good heavy white head, honey gold in colour.
Big aroma of Aussie macro... Pride of Ringwood, touch of honey, burnt matches/sulfur. I rate this well because of what it's aiming to be, not on my preference.
The flavour fails, however. Light honeyish flavour, subtle grain, no hop flavour.
Mouthfeel is not impressive. Insipid, kinda Tooheys-extra-dry-like, but not crisply finishing. No bitterness, slight residual cloying feeling...
A confused beer... seems to embrace a mixture of elements....Aussie macro, Aussie dry, Honey lager...picking up the undesirable elements of each.
