"Drunk at "The Brewery" on Newcastle wharf... arguably the spiritual home of the ubiquitous Bluetongue....
Mid-gold appearance, poured with little head. Not a good start.
Aromas of aussie macro PoR, but a hint of nobility, such as Saaz. Light honey note also.
A better taste than I expected.... a good Aussie take on Pilsener (although probably should not be called that). Light malt, grain, and a subtle tang that reminded me of salicylate (aspirin).
Good refreshing session beer for a hot day.
