Bluetongue Vintage Ale is a celebration of the art of brewing. It is a tradiitonal strong ale made using pure Hunter water, four distinct malts, three hop additions, and traditional ale yeast. It is bottle conditioned and has had extensive cellaring. This provides a beer that has both character and complexity, but is also smooth and satisfying.

"Hazy copper colour, heavy off white head.
Aromas of flinty hop, and yeast extract. Slight ginger note, touch gamey, and an underlying caramel tone.
Flavours of caramel again, some honey / goldensyrup. Hpo highlights as well, which is commendable ,considering the age of the beer.
Quite thin in body, for what it is and perhaps what it is trying to be.
