"Sampled from bottle. Pours brown with a creamy off-white head. Toasted nut/warm bread aroma. Slightly sweet. Quite bready with toasted malts giving it the advertised nutty character. Some cocoa as well. Pleasant and drinkable. A fair amount of character for the style compared to its counterparts. Good for the style. "

"Pours brown with good clarity, red highlights, and small creamy head. Aroma is earthy and bready with light, roasty notes. Flavor is nutty, bready, slightly sweet initially. Unfortunately, the aftertaste is musty, metallic and unsavory. Light bodied with light carbonation. "

"A very well rounded brown, the couple I kicked back with were very enjoyable. The pour produces an abundant aroma of chocolate and roasted nuts, a wonderful inviting scent. Dark amber color with a dense brown hue. Thick filmy tan head that settles to a nice layer that leaves a stringy trace of lacing. Medium, malty body that is nice and creamy. Real smooth and drinkable without getting too heavy, this could become a nice long session beer. Roasted malt flavors backed by some caramel, toffee, and a dash of cocoa. Hops seem non-existent within the flavor, which allows the nice blend of malts to take over. A well crafted Brown Ale, very nice from an often overlooked style."

"From a bottle. Pours a clear brown with a thin head. Light, malty aroma. Flavor is also mild. Slightly sweet and little to no hop flavor. Good session beer, but nothing I'd seek out."

"This brown ale pours a deep brown color form a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized tan foamy head. Aroma is nutty, chocolate malts, caramel and sweet. A medium bodied brown ale. Malts are caramel, nutty, chocolate and sweet. Hops are earthy and floral. Nice balance. Lively carbonation. Kind of semi sweet with a dry finish. Nice brown ale, not boring at all. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet."
