"A deep cherry color, quite clear, with a nice pink head. Not super carbonated though. Smells of cherry and also slightly tart with a woodiness to it as well. Almost cherry candy type aromas. Not very sour tasting at all, though not that sweet either. A little bit of a tannic edge finishes the beer off. Quite mellow for a lambic. Overall this has a nice cherry flavor backed by a pleasing light acidity. This would be a good first lambic beer for those who have not had the style, but in the end it just does not hold up."

"Bottle: Poured a deep reddish color lambic with a super huge pink foamy head with perfect retention. Aroma of sweet cherries with some tart notes. Taste is also dominated by some sweet cherries with tart notes. Not as sour as some other example of the style (Cantillon, Drie Fonteinen) but I don’t believe any sugar was added maybe just cherries with a sweeter taste profile (but I might be wrong). Body is full with some low filtration and some great carbonation. Overall a very enjoyable and refreshing beer for summertime."

"Dark red color, much foam. Aroma is winelike and not so much like beer. In the taste some beer characters are still predictable, but mostly cherry and grape os felt in this Kriek. Still nice one. Tried 2005 edition..."

"Red amberish colour, small reddish head. Sweet cherry in both flavour and aroma. Not quite as sweet as Lindemans. It has the slight notes of the bitterishness the cherries have also, which makes it pleasant to drink. "

"2004 batch: Super dark red brew with a small, creamy cap with decent retension and an ok ammount of slippery lacing. It has a very refreshing prominent aroma consisting mainly of soft sweet and tart cherries. Taste is very good! A good mix of tartness, sweetness and a background sourness and it's all cherry. Here and there I take a sip and it has a mild watery taste..odd. My mouth is telling my brain to keep pouring more in while my brain is asking itself why it allowed me to eat an entire box of Hotrods this afternoon. Mouthfeel is very nice. Meduim bodied with fine carbonation. Subdued middle with a mid-grade tart dryness. Finishes quiet but dry and left a film in my mouth. Good stuff but I'm left wondering if I should have cellared this longer than a year."
