"Hazy nutbrown colour, not much head, but a bit white foam. Very sour aroma and flavour. My first thought when having this was that unless knowing what I drink I would have guessed for a Cantillon. Very pleasant, refreshing and smooth lambic. "

"Pours with a golden body topped by a thin head with some lacing. It’s sour and tart with a great horseblanket note. MMM...I love them gueuzes. Light bodied, crisp and smooth."

"This gueze is strictly, IMO, just a beginners gueze. Not to say it's not enjoyable because it is but when I think of a proper gueuze I think of old leather, funk, cheese, barnyard and this didn't really carry any of those characteristics. Aroma was vinegar, acidic and slightly moldy. Appearance was a murky, goldish/orange color. Mouthfeel was mild somehow, medium-bodied at best. Flavors were drinkable with apples, champagne, and slightly lemony with none of the trademark kick-you-in-the-nuts tartness/bitterness I've come to expect. It was mildly tart, so it gets an average rating. Overall, a decent beer to start someone off sampling a gueuze, but far, far from being the top dog. "

"Clear orange appearance, small thick white head. Soft woody stable aroma with hints of citrus-peels. Flavour starts round of hay and lemon but finishes a bit woody and tart. Mellow. Round mouthfeel. "

"This geuze pours a hazy orange gold color from a cork finished 375 ml bottle. Large sized white foamy head, with good long lasting lacing. Aroma is leather and must, sweet and sour with barnyard and horse blanket. A medium to full bodied geuze. Tart and funky flavors blended with barnyard and must. Some old books, apples, lemons and peaches. Despite all the funk, and this one is really funky, make no doubt about it, there is a nice malt backbone. Lively carbonation. A funky, tart and sout geuze, it is not as dry as the ‘regular’ geuze. Lots of stuff going on in this one. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is tart and funky. "
