"Reaching the end of my first batch of trade brews - thanks much for the great beers... This one is tasty, too. Poured a clear copper color with a light tan head. Sweet toffee in the nose, but a slight sour aroma; nice full round mouthfeel. Flavor is true to style with a little American twist: rich, smooth caramel malt with a soft hop edge. Nice balance. Hint of chocolate or smoke hidden among the Irish grain. MUSIC: 'U & I' by Paddy Casey"

"Attractive, deep amber body wtih an off-white head. The head dissipated quickly, though, and it didn't leave much of a lace. Somewhat sweet, dried fruit-like aroma, and the initial flavor was much the same. The flavor profile becomes more interesting as the hops emerge in the middle to late stages, and everything seems to become rather balanced in the end. Carbonation is lively, yet there's also a creaminess that developed during the finish. Overall, this is a fine offering from Boulevard, but I would recommend their "Bob's 47" over this one. "

"This is another beer where I really like the aroma, and it poors quite well, nice reddish color. Although it is one of the better beers from Boulevard, it has too much of a bite for my taste."

"Maybe I'm spoiled by imports, but I thought this beer tasted a lot like their pale (Which I like very much). It has a decent head, very nice color, and tastes good, just not what I'm used to in an Irish Ale. Still a pretty good beer."

"Couldn't rate it too high, b/c it's a boulevard. However, this is the first one that I have liked. It's got a bite to it w/ a lovely brown coloring. off white head that's very frothy."
