Bottle Conditioned;
Brakspear Triple ABV 7.2% 500 ml bottle Liquid indulgence A beer conceived by our Head Brewer Jeremy Moss, to celebrate the return of Brakspear brewing to Oxfordshire. This is a triple fermented, triple hopped strong beer, packaged in individually numbered bottles. With its high alcohol content and bottle conditioning, this is a beer that will go on to develop further complexity as it matures in its bottle.

"Bottle: Poured a deep clear amber color ale with a medium foamy head with OK retention and small traces of lacing. Aroma of biscuit malt is very enjoyable. Taste is also dominated by nice biscuit malt notes with medium sweetness. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Nicely done but nothing earth shattering in here."

"500ml bottle
Decants a clear, deep chestnut brown ale with ruby high lights...2 finger sticky cap ...moderate retention. Bottle conditioned with very little suspended particulate.
Aroma is pungent, citrus, spice, some sweetness, fruity.
Flavor is malt accented but the fruit esters are complex and range from succulent fruits like plums to dried fruit like dates...some treacle light charred husk, spices, hopping ranges from medicinal to herbal to citrus rind...what complexity...complex hop alpha mix, complex yeast esters and phenols and multi-layered malt mix...one sturdy and satisfying yet complex beer.
Love it!"

"Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is hoppy and fruity. Flavour is dry hops, malts and slight alcoholic sweetness along with weak caramel. Not the best balanced beer... "

"Bottle conditioned. Bottle number 355455Copper coloured with a slim beige head. Visibly quite highly carbonated. Aroma of caramel, malt, fruit, sherry, brown sugar, honey, raisins. Flavours are malty, spicey, hops, honey, treacle and dark fruits. Alcohol only just detectable. Full bodied, but a little too lively. I will age the other bottles. Excellent."

"Bottle condtioned, 500 ml. Bottle No. 001880. Pours with a large, thick and lasting beige head. Beautiful copper colour, transparent, no sediment in bottle. Delightful sweet aroma - Christmas spices, caramel, brown sugar, oak, fruits (sultanas, plums), sherry. Flavour is malty and spicy with some brown sugar notes, but not too sweet. A substantial hoppy bitterness from start to finish. Very good! "
