Pleasure for the older generation. A dark, golden bitter. Serve slightly chilled but not cold. Old Shag is a well rounded hoppy beer, with a hint of bitterness. Ideal for quenching those raging thirsts. Contains barley & may contain wheat, oats, rye & spelt.
Traditionally there was no more pleasure gained, than with a Pie, a Pint and a Pipe down the local pub. Old Shag is a bitter which is brewed in the old traditional manner in an attempt to re-kindle the "Good Old Days".

"500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger, as "Branded Drinks Old Shag". ABV is 4.0%. Amber colour, decent head. Very moderate aroma, just a hint of malt and toffee. Moderate malty and biscuity flavour, very moderate hops. Not bad, but not remarkable either."
